Critical Home Repair Services
Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun has partnered with the Town of Gilbert to provide a special home safety and critical repair program. This is made possible by a grant from the Town of Gilbert and the HUD Community Development Block Grant program. Income-eligible, owner-occupied properties (Single Family or Mobile Homes) are eligible for no-cost critical home repairs that, if not corrected, would make the home uninhabitable.
Repairs may include:

Hot Water Heater Replacement

Threshhold Ramps

Bathroom Accessibility Modifications

HVAC Repair/Replacement

Code Compliance Remediation

Weatherization
Application Information
Applications are accepted throughout the year with projects completed as funds and contractors become available. Applications are reviewed on a first-come-first-served basis. However, funding is limited and not all qualified applicants may be selected.
Applications that do not include Proof of Income Documentation, or that are outside of the Town of Gilbert will not be considered.
Proof of Income Documentation for Each Household Member:

Bank statements from the previous three months;

Income Tax Return from the previous year (If filed); and

Social security or disability award/determination letter, OR three most recent payroll check stubs
(Don't forget to block out social security and bank account numbers)
