We're jumping for joy!

After nearly two years, RTVOS has earned the prestigious Points of Light Foundation’s Service Enterprise certification, and we are so proud!

Thanks to the hard work of Volunteer Manager extraordinaire Alexa Duke, we crossed every t, dotted every i, and learned some great information on how best to create a great experience for you, our volunteers, with RTVOS - all during a pandemic.

Since so much was on hold over the past 18 months, we weren’t able to put much of our new knowledge into practice, but we are now looking forward to providing both our current volunteers and new volunteers with amazing experiences helping our neighbors stay safe at home.

This is the perfect time to sign up to volunteer. There are fulfilling jobs available and we love to meet new friends. Check out how RTVOS volunteers are helping by following us on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

In other news, I am excited to introduce Frank Howard, Jr., and Jenna Wasylak as the newest members of the RTVOS team.

Frank comes from a background in banking and corporate philanthropy and is looking forward to meeting all of our supporters and introducing Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun to new friends.

Jenna has many years of experience managing nonprofit programs and is excited to get out into the community to meet our clients, volunteers, partners, and collaborators.

To learn more about both Frank and Jenna, visit our social media sites, or rtvos.org.

Finally, I want to let you know that after a couple of years on hiatus, we are planning to begin bringing back our signature volunteer events National Rebuilding Day and Make A Difference Day, so mark your calendars for October 23 and April 2 and stand by for details to come!

Stay safe and healthy.
